Shubham Mishra is an accomplished expert in the field of EMI shielding materials and advanced composites, with a strong focus on applications within the defense and aerospace industries. His extensive knowledge spans the design, optimization, and application of innovative materials that enhance electromagnetic interference protection in critical defense systems and aerospace platforms.

Shubham holds a Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, with his research focusing on the design, fabrication, and characterization of carbon-based functional polymer matrix composites for radar-absorbing structural applications. Additionally, he has earned his M.Tech in Manufacturing Science & Technology from Bundelkhand Institute of Engineering & Technology, and a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from the University Institute of Engineering & Technology, Kanpur.

Before leading Azygos Innovations, Shubham served as a Senior Researcher at the Defence Materials and Stores Research & Development Establishment (DMSRDE) under the DRDO in Kanpur, where he contributed significantly to projects like the "Stealth Materials for Airborne Platforms (SMAP)." His role involved the development of glass/carbon fabric-based functional composites for low observable platforms, mechanical testing, data analysis of polymer matrix composites for defense and aerospace purposes, and simulation & modeling for the prediction of electromagnetic properties of radar-absorbing structures.

His previous experience also includes a stint as a Project Trainee at the ISRO Satellite Centre (ISAC) in Bengaluru, where he was involved in the technical operation of carbon dioxide laser cutting machines, microstructural analysis, and environmental testing for spacecraft materials.

Shubham’s research work has been widely recognized, with numerous international publications and conference papers to his credit. His technical expertise and innovative approach have also been demonstrated through his involvement in multiple workshops, seminars, and CEP courses on stealth technology, functional polymers, and advanced materials for defense applications.
